SAM CAIN

Sam Cain currently sits as the Head Women’s Soccer coach at Iowa Lakes Community college since March of 2022. Since that time he has immediately turned the program around bringing the team it’s first winning record since 2015. 

As a player, Cain played collegiate soccer at Frederick Community College before transferring to NCAA D2, Post University, where he won the CACC Conference Championship while earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Since 2010,

Cain has coached, developed, and scouted players of all ages and levels. He began his coaching career in 2010 working with u14 boys’ team out of Newtown, CT and has been continually active since that time. He has helped players transform from club to MLS Academy and from High School to college levels. Cain brings a wealth of knowledge and application in talent development, which makes him a crucial piece in maximizing the potential of a young player. Cain also worked as a scout recruiting over 25 players for professional teams in Europe and Asia while recruiting international players for collegiate programs in the United States.
